EffCo will only make a project proposition if we have identified enough potential for improvement to achieve a substantial Return on Investment.
On the other hand, in order to enable our potential commissioner to take a founded decision on yes or no investing in an EffCo project and in order to enable ourselves to develop a custom-made project proposal, we always conduct a preliminary feasibility study.
The preliminary feasibility study takes 2 weeks. The goals are:
To map the improvement potential in the areas of:
- Efficiency and productivity
- Communication
- Organisation
- Work processes
- Supervisory behaviour.
To calculate in Euros the efficiency improvement potential.
To develop a custom-made approach.
To set up the savings realisation plan.
To develop the communication strategy for the project.
To calculate the pricing - the payback times - the cash flow projection.

A typical EffCo project consists of 4 phases.
Diagnosis
During the first weeks of the project, the savings potential will be further developed together with supervisors and management. During this phase, the priority lies within the creation of ownership for the changes to come. We ensure that the people concerned recognize that change is necessary in order to maintain competitive advantage.
Development
During this phase, the solutions for the identified problems will be developed (new standards, new communication flows, improved customer-supplier relationships, implementation of best working practices, etc.). EffCo's supporting role lies in the area of the creation of ownership in order to successfully start the implementation.
Implementation
During this phase, the improved work processes and the financial results are actually implemented. EffCo coaches supervisors, mid management and executives in the attainment of the improvements as established during the preliminary feasibility study. EffCo's supporting role lies in the areas of time-keeping, maintaining focus, the realization of the savings and the creation of ownership in order to successfully perform the implementation.
Sustainment
During this phase, the results are sustained by taking care that the people within our client's organisation are able to continuously improve efficiency themselves after the project is finished. We fully transfer our know-how to a group of people and make sure that the implemented management system keeps its integrity of data. Eventually, we offer periodical audits after the termination of the project.
